A favorite poem of mine!

Arise Woman Of God

Rise up O woman of God In what He has given you The things God has laid on your heart Rise up, go forth, and do

Unlock what God has placed within The potential you have inside The world is waiting for your release To expand your wings and fly

Arise in your God-given gifts For this is your finest hour Arise in the Lord’s holy might Ignited and empowered

For God is calling you to come forth To impact this world for Him Don’t hold back or limit yourself Let His power arise within

And take His message to the world To those that have lost their way For you can surely make a difference If you’d hear His voice and obey

You shall be strengthened in the Lord As you begin to arise Conquering those doubts that pull you downAnd believe who you are in Christ

For you shall surely be transformed As, in you, God increases more And become a woman of true excellence Bringing honour to her Lord

Sorry about all the errors in this poem, I don't have time now and I cannot correct it!

English Language....

I found this off of a blog and loved it so much I though I would post it.

For your amusement: The English Language

We'll begin with a box, and the plural is boxes,
But the plural of ox becomes oxen, not oxes.
One fowl is a goose, but two are called geese,
Yet the plural of moose should never be meese.
You may find a lone mouse or a nest full of mice,
Yet the plural of house is houses, not hice.
If the plural of man is always called men,
Why shouldn't the plural of pan be called pen?
If I speak of my foot and show you my feet,
And I give you a boot, would a pair be called beet?
If one is a tooth and a whole set are teeth,
Why shouldn't the plural of booth be called beeth?
Then one may be that, and three would be those,
Yet hat in the plural would never be hose,
And the plural of cat is cats, not cose.
We speak of a brother and also of brethren,
But though we say mother, we never say methren.
Then the masculine pronouns are he, his and him,
But imagine the feminine: she, shis and shim!
Let's face it - English is a crazy language.
There is no egg in eggplant nor ham in hamburger;
neither apple nor pine in pineapple.
English muffins weren't invented in England .
We take English for granted, but if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly,
boxing rings are square,
and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.
And why is it that writers write but fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce and hammers don't ham?
Doesn't it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend.
If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one of them, what do you call it?
If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught?
If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?
Sometimes I think all the folks who grew up speaking English should be committed to an asylum for the verbally insane. In what other language do people recite at a play and play at a recital?
We ship by truck but send cargo by ship.
We have noses that run and feet that smell.
We park in a driveway and drive in a parkway.
And how can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites?
You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language in which your house can burn up as it burns down, in which you fill in a form by filling it out, and in which an alarm goes off by going on.
And in closing, if Father is Pop, how come Mother's not Mop?

But I will say I might be having a bracelet and earrings class this summer for some ladies and kids so that will be fun! The best Dad in the WHOLE world (my Dad of course) took me to the bead shop today and bought be earrings supplies and an EXPENSIVE tool. He is so thoughtful, and is ALWAYS thinking of us girls. Kids!

We were at a friends house a few weeks ago having dinner, and there 2nd littlest and I decided to take a walk down by their BEAUTIFUL lake. They have a great big long dock, we walked slowly down and under a canopy that they had also made. It is quite beautiful. This little boy is so smart and clever for his age of four years. As we were walking he stops and says to me, "May I please go swimming in the lake?" I say very sweetly that I think it would be best to ask his parents. He stops walking and looks straight into my eyes and asks, " Are you a parent yet?" I laugh heartily and swoop down and give him a squeeze. I answer him no, not yet!

Hopefully some day!

Poor Little Blog

I have been so busy lately that my Blog has been neglected once again. *Sigh* Sisters, Family, Piano, School, Pets, Tennis, shall I go on? Well this summer I wanted to do a little "Craft Camp" for a few girls in our homeschooler's group. I don't know if I will get to that this summer! I have been so busy I haven't even had time to think about it! I got quite a bit of it planned out on paper but still, too too busy. ;) My Swarovski crystal bracelet making has been a wonderful thing for me. I think I have found my new hobby! :) Today I made a sample Swarovski earring just to see how it would turn out. It turned out beautifully! So this summer I think I will be trying to make some earrings! I have never made earrings before so I am excited about making them! All of us women in the family have never been into jewelery that much. Our Mom trained us that natural beauty is the best kind of beauty you can ever have, but she doesn't mind us wearing a little bit. maybe earrings or a bracelet. I don't think it is BAD to wear jewelery as long as you wear just a little bit so it doesn't take away from your countenance showing. I love making Salvation bracelets the best. Each color has a special meaning. I am out of town right now but when I get back home I will post some pictures and share the meanings.

Ta-Ta my friends,
