Gram came up for a visit a few days ago and let me tell you what, IT HAS BEEN A BLAST! She is such a funny person and so energetic. She has been helping my Mom out with the new magazine that my parents recently purchased so it has been a busy couple of days. First, my Gram went out and took my Mom's car. She went to a plaza and when she was finished she came back to the car and tried to start it but she couldn't get the keys to work!!! She tried and tried but it wouldn't budge. She thought of using a pay phone but she remembered that she had given ALL of her change to my little sister for her jar. So can you guess what she did? She WALKED ALL THE WAY HOME!!! It isn't that far but it is a pretty long walk. :P She came in the front door and I just stared at her because she looked like someone had just run over her with a truck, and she was SO red I thought she might pass out. I said, WHAT HAPPENED???!!!! She pointed out the window and I saw that there was NO car in the driveway! WHOOPSIE! Poor Gram. I will tell you she is fine and recovered. Another funny story, She slept in my sister's room which is downstairs and my sister's dwarf hamster lives in her room. My Grandma HATES rodents of any kind. Even if it is a cute tiny little dwarf hamster. She can barely even look at them. So we decided for her sake to move the hamster out of the room so she wouldn't be too uncomfortable.
We forgot to put the hamster out of Kate's reach so I bet you can guess what happened next. Kate got the hamster cage door open and brought the little present right to Gram to show her what she got! She plopped him down right on Gram's lap and Gram SCREAMED!!! Her arms in the air and then she froze with eyes as big as..... Oreo cookies. Rachel quickly scooped "Gus" up and put him back in the cage out of Kate's reach. I walked quickly out of the room so I wouldn't show my smile. I couldn't help it at all. It was the funniest sight I think I have ever seen. Poor Gram. She has recovered from that incident as well.
And no, we do not try to kill her every time she comes for a visit. :o)
I can't wait to blog about her next visit!

Partner's In Crime....
Our kittens are such a blessing to us girls. Myself and my sisters are CRAZY ANIMAL LOVERS, so we are so thankful for our kittens. They are growing so fast and are getting into more and more and more and more and more AND MORE trouble. I will list a couple things....
1. Pulled down my blow dryer from the cord and just about broke it into a million pieces.
2. They fight over their food, which ends up EVERYWHERE.
3. They climb up the furniture.
4. Climb up the dining room chairs.
5. Get stuck behind the couch.
6. Fall behind the beds.
7. Fight over their water bowl and try to fit BOTH paws into it at the same time. Resulting in it tipping over.
Those were just a few I could go on FOR EVER and EVER!
I guess God had to make them cute so that parents wouldn't get rid of them! :o)

Little L
Last night Lauren slept in my bed with me. We were both just laying there until I hear her say, "Do you want to know the 3 words I dislike the most?" I said sure. She said, "You are too little, you already had something to eat, and no piano right now." I couldn't help but BURST OUT LAUGHING! If there is one person in our family who can make you laugh the hardest, that would be Lauren. She then asked me what mine were and I said, " The word no, no computer, and the words TIME TO GET UP!" Well I guess there are words that we can sometimes not want to hear, but It's best to always embrace them and move on. I have been trying to be better at that specific situation. A good friend once told me "I always accept what my parents answers are, even if I don't like what they are because I know they are trying to do what's best for me!" I cannot tell you how that hit me. I have ALWAYS remembered that until this day. But I must say that sometimes I do not react so well when my parents give me an answer that I don't like. The Lord says in Proverbs 1:8 "Listen my son to you father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching." BAM! There you go! Could it be anymore clear??? I challenge you next time your parents give you an answer, even though you may not like the answer, think of this scripture in the Bible, and I will try to next time too!

TOTALLY FROM THE LORD!!!!!!!
A couple of hours after we got home from church, Mom said, "Why don't you put Lord of the Rings on for us to watch?" We all were so excited because we love the movies so much!! We put the first one on and started watching. A little after the movie started I asked my Dad if we could get the trilogy of Lord of the Rings on DVD for Christmas. I wanted the DVD set because we have them all on video. A few hours later L and I hear a knock on the door. We wonder who in the world could that be?!! We see our Pastor and his daughter (my best friend love ya C)!!!!!!!!!! We open the door and I attack her with a big hug! And what does she have in her hands? The whole trilogy of Lord of the Rings on DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I asked them if they knew we were watching it or something but they said no! Wow, the Lord can provide in so many different ways. He can give us wisdom, strength, peace, comfort, love, and kindness. HE CAN EVEN GIVE YOU THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY ON DVD! WOO HOO!! Lol.
Say it with me,
GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!
ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD!
AMEN!!! <><

Baked Hamster~
A couple years ago my friend got a dwarf hamster! I would go over and just love on that little hamster! I thought that they were sooooo cute and sooooo much fun! I am not a bid rodent person either. It took about hmmm I would say a couple of years before I actually got one. I got him for a Christmas present about 2 years ago. I loved him sooo much. I named him Hammiechok which is Russian for hamster. Hammie for short. :o) He stayed in my room with me for almost 2 years. But recently I could not take the mess and the smell so I decided to move him into our back room. I moved him there about I would say 2 weeks ago. So the day before yesterday L took him out to play with him and he looked so terrible!!! His eyes were swollen and he was a skinny little hamster skeleton. He obviously was VERY sick. The poor think we had no idea what was wrong with him. So we called the pet store to see what was wrong with him and all they said was that he was getting old and he was probably going to die. I TOTALLY knew that was not the reason he was sick. Before I got my hamster I did MAJOR research on everything about them. After a little bit we realized that he was in a location with 2 windows where the shades were always open and in the HOTTEST room in the house. Plus he has a plastic cage which does not circulate cool air through his cage! Then I look up his symptoms on the computer and find that we are LITERALLY baking our poor hamster!!!!!!!!!!! We IMMEDIATELY moved him. Like 2 seconds after we moved him he started eating agian! WE WERE SOoOoOoOoO relieved. HE is now the most fat hamster you have ever seen. Hee Hee!
Here is a hamster tjp. NEVER PUT YOUR HAMSTER IN A HOT AREA! Or you will end up with a baked hamster! :o)

Fish heads falling from the sky???!!!
One day my Dad asked us girls to go rake some sticks in the yard. So we go get the wagon and the rakes and start getting to it. IT WAS SOOOO HOT!! I will never forget how hot it was that day. Anyway, L and I realize that there is a whole fish skeleton in the yard. We scream like girls when we see it. We could not figure out where they were coming from! My Dad thought that someone was throwing them out the window of their car into our yard or something. We then notice that 2 hawks live in the trees above where we are raking. They are getting fish from the lakes and bringing them to their nest to EAT THEM! We thought how cool is that!!!! So we now enjoy the beautiful hawks that we can sit outside and watch. But I DO NOT enjoy running over the smelly fish skeletons with the lawn mower! Ewwwww..... :)
